Day 1 - Welcome to Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi Airport, after you disembark off the flight, proceed through immigration, collect your luggage, and pass through custom procedures, you will be greeted by your friendly local representative. You are transferred to The Intercontinental Hotel. InterContinental Nairobi has for years been an oasis of comfort for business travellers as well as those who want to experience the wonders of Africa. Overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel.

Day 2 - Free day around Nairobi - Overnight at the Intercontinental Hotel

Day 3 - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Amboseli National Park with game drives en-route to the Sentrim Amboseli Camp. Check in, and have lunch at the camp and proceed for an afternoon game drive. Sentrim Amboseli's location deep inside the reserve guarantees close encounters with the park's renowned elephants. Also happily roaming the grasslands are buffallos, wildebeast, zebra, giraffes, impalas and several predators.

The Park is famous for its breath-taking views of Kilimanjaro. The Park also shelters more than 420 species of birds. Enormous Elephant population and other big game are attracted to the area by underground springs fed from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.

Day 4 - Amboseli National Park

Today you have morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli National park. Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for a morning game drive. The Park is known for its felines: Lion, Leopard and cheetah as well as serval and civet cats. Herds of graceful Impala thrive on the short grass in the woodlands, along with the black-faced vervet monkey and Olive Baboon. Hippos live in the open waters and swamp channels and Buffalo feed on the shoreline.

This is the place to encounter large numbers of Elephants, observing their complex greeting rituals and the way all the adult females protect and instruct the young. The Amboseli Elephant population is one of the few in Africa that has not been ravaged by poachers. Masai warriors are famous and are proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and singlehanded acts of bravery in fights with wild animals are known across the world.

Day 5 - Amboseli National Park - Aberdare National Park

After an American breakfast, drive to Aberdare National Park. Check into Aberdare Country Club for lunch.

After lunch transfer to Ark Lodge, which is ideally located in the Aberdare National Park and overlooking a water-hole. In the evening, you can watch a host of wild animals visiting the waterhole.

This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner. Spend the night at the Lodge viewing various animals as they come to visit the waterhole and saltlicks. Dinner and overnight at The Ark.

Day 6 - Ark Lodge - Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast at the lodge, check out and proceed to Samburu Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. The lovely Samburu Game Reserve is seldom visited yet very pretty.

This Game Reserve is a rugged wilderness featuring bubbling hot springs, rolling savannah, miles of scrub & desert and the Ewaso Nyiro River which supports a diversity of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 7 - Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, you spend the full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. You are most likely to find the reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, the Beisa oryx, the blue legged Somali ostrich, waterbuck, Grant's gazelles, dik dik, duiker, olive baboons, lions, spotted and striped hyenas and leopards. In the river, many crocodiles feed on the abundant wildlife. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 8 - Samburu Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge in time for lunch. Check in and depart for an afternoon game drive after lunch. Situated in the South East Ecological niche of the park is Lake Nakuru Lodge, an oasis of comfort and excellent service, with commanding views of the lesser flamingo dotted with the Greater Flamingo for which Lake Nakuru is justly famous.

Lake Nakuru National Park not only boasts one of the world's greatest ornithological spectacles, with over 450 species of birds, but is also sanctuary to the greatly endangered white rhino. The lake hosts thousands of flamingoes which create a breath taking shimmering pink hue over the lake. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at the Lodge. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 9 - Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve

After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, check out and proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge. Located in the very heart of Kenya’s fabled Maasai Mara National Reserve, Keekorok, meaning abundance in the local Maasai language, Keekorok Lodge has everything possible; no matter whom you are, Keekorok will help you feel at home.

With the largest gift store in the game park, spacious grounds, countless activities, a sparkling pool, fantastic food and beverage options, and a rich history as the oldest lodge in the Maasai Mara, Keekorok is an unforgettable experience in the Maasai Mara.

In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive. Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 10 - Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, proceed on a morning game-viewing drive to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness a kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! You also have the opportunity to visit a traditional Masai Village and learn about the Masai culture. Return to your lodge for a sumptuous lunch and proceed for another exciting game drive, where you can expect to see the famous 'Big 5'. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge.

Day 11 - Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi where you are transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight back home.

Balloon Safari - USD $460 per person

We heartily recommend ballooning in East Africa; both to first timers and those who have made an ascent before, because no other aerial experience can compare with this exhilarating hawks eye view of Kenya’s Masai Mara. As your flight floats you across the great vast plains in your gondola in the sky, you may see the famous wildebeest migration heading north in search of better grasslands.

The beauty of the wilderness as seen from the early morning African skies is an unchallenged experience we strongly recommend to all our guests. On landing, the balloon crew will set up a bush breakfast fit for a king and the pilots will toast to your accomplishment with chilled champagne. With breakfast done our experienced guides will take you for a game drive looking for the big five.

Bush Dinner at Masai Mara - USD $65 per person

Just a short distance from the beautiful grounds of the lodge, set in a beautiful acacia glade, there is a clearing naturally made by the elephant? You can enjoy a private dinner in this fairy tale setting. The surrounding trees and bushes are lit with hurricane lamps. This is where we will have a private performance of Maasai Dancers. The throbbing of drums and unforgettable voices of African Tribesman fill the air and silence the crickets and the owls.

The area of the Maasai Mara is home to the majestic tribe of the Maasai people. They are known for their amazing war cries and jumping. It is fun to arrange the drummers to come out of the trees and surprise you, they are very tall and majestic looking people, and wear their full warrior dress.

Dinner at Carnivore - USD $35 per person

Everyone who comes to Kenya must try the Carnivore Restaurant if they are true meat eaters. Every type of meat imaginable is roasted on traditional Masai swords (skewers) over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.

The Carnivore is a unique experience. This open-air meat specialty restaurant has become a standard stop on the safari trail. Visit to Giraffe Centre / Daphne Sheldrick & Lunch - USD $65 per person

A visit to the fascinating Giraffe Center enables you to come face to face with the Rothschild Giraffe and have the pleasure of hand feeding them with Giraffe food. Proceed onto the Daphne Sheldrick’s where you get the opportunity to see the orphaned Elephants after which you have lunch.
